Somewhere in 2019, I fixed the T.V of this woman. A friend of hers recommended me to her and I got in touch. I am into I.T and software. So the T.V was the first thing I installed for her. Then I think some months later, she called me again about her phone and her daughter’s computer. She is married to a police officer who is currently retired. I heard the man has a high rank in the police and is very well respected. The man looks so old, old enough to be the woman’s dad and they have three children. Most of the time when I go over to her place, her husband is not there and I have met him only a few times.
The woman is really fine and I started seeing that she was calling me for minor minor problems and giving me money too. Some of the problems, her children can solve it. She will call me saying there is a problem on her phone. But when I get there I’ll see that I just have to restart the phone or change it from flight mode. I wasn’t staying far from them and going there to get money free like that was cool for me so I never complained. This continued for some time and the woman became more like a friend. When I go and visit, she will cook and give me food to eat and watch movies with me. A friend of mine warned me about the whole thing. He said he also heard it from someone and that people are starting to notice how I am always at the policeman’s house. I told him I was doing nothing wrong. But I didn’t want trouble so I started ignoring the wife.
When she calls, I give an excuse. This also went on for sometime until one day she called me asking me if her husband or another police officer have scared me away. I told her nothing like that had happened but she said she was sure. In the end, she invited me to sit somewhere and I didn’t want to disappoint her so we met there and she started talking about how she was forced to marry her husband when she was just 19. The man had taken care of her and her family. She is from a poor background and the policeman was taking care of them for many years. They are from the same hometown. The man already has children who are older. She said his first born is even older than her. But he never married until one day he said he will marry her and her parents couldn’t say no.
She said the man does not have time for her and doesn’t satisfy her and she just needs someone to be with. I told her I couldn’t do it. She was offering to be giving me money and the woman herself is nice looking but I was thinking about what will happen if we ever get caught. She is 32 years, I’m 30. Her husband is in his mid 60s. I told her I couldn’t do it so we should end it here. I can’t have an affair with a married woman. But somehow we were chatting and talking on phone a lot and I started developing feelings for her especially when she sends me randoms. Then we started meeting at one guesthouse or another. We didn’t want to be caught at the same place many times so we were always meeting at different places. In the course of that, she aborted two pregnancies for me. We could have easily given the children to her husband. That is far better than killing them through abortion, but she always insisted her husband doesn’t touch her so it will not be possible to do that.
Thanks to her husband, I was renting a very nice place. She was sending me allowance every week from the money her husband gives her and that’s how I took care of myself. My work was not bringing enough money and people don’t call me these days for work. Then last month I was there when she called me and told me to run. She said her husband has found out about the affair and he is looking for me. Someone told him about it. I left Accra and went to stay with my senior brother around Winneba. Then the following week, she called me that she has found out she is pregnant with our child again and she is scared of what her husband will do when he finds out so she wants me to show her where I am so she will come there. I told her she can go and abort it at where we did the first two but she said she is afraid her husband will find out and she wants to meet me urgently so we discuss what to do. I was so afraid about the news so I discussed with my brother and he got angry with me and now he is also sacking me from his side. He said he doesn’t want any trouble.
I am just confused and I don’t know what to do. I have put my phone off so that the woman doesn’t reach me. My brother has given me up till next week to leave his room and now I don’t have any money or place to go. Now I regret the day I even met her. Upon all the women I could have gone for I still chose to sleep with a policeman’s wife. Now my life is miserable. I need help. Please what should I do?
